Stay, Leave, or Start Again?
A coaching programme for individuals and couples who need clarity on whether to stay together, start again, or separate well.
Make or Break Coaching is a structured relationship decision-making programme I created as an experienced therapist and mediator.
If you are asking yourself, “Should I stay or leave my relationship?” or “Should I stay or leave my marriage?”, this programme gives you a clear, supported way forward.
What’s Included in Make or Break Coaching
Inside the programme, you’ll receive:
- Clear, self-paced learning you can return to whenever you need
- Six months of personal support to help you stay guided through the process
- Private sessions with Jayne for your specific situation
- Group coaching to ask questions and feel supported along the way
- Practical exercises to help you reflect, communicate, and make sense of what is happening
- Access to a supportive online community, so you do not have to carry this alone
Decide With Clarity, Not Fear
You’ll be guided through a focused relationship clarity programme to decide whether to:
Start again together by creating a new relationship with the same person, built on stronger foundations
or
Separate with dignity, kindness, and self-respect
Move From Emotional Limbo to a Decision You Can Trust
You may be in the place where nothing feels simple anymore. Other days, you feel exhausted, resentful, disconnected, and ready to walk away. You may have tried talking it through.
You may have tried couples counselling.
You may have promised yourself things would change. But you are still here, circling the same question:
Should I stay, or should I leave?
Make or Break Coaching gives you a structured way through the confusion, so you are not making one of the biggest decisions of your life from fear, guilt, anger, or exhaustion.
This is relationship support for individuals and couples who feel caught in an unhappy relationship, a relationship breakdown, or a marriage that feels close to breaking point.
How Make or Break Coaching Works
Phase One: The Decision Phase
The Decision Phase helps you understand whether there is still a future together, or whether separation is the healthier path.
Over 2 to 4 sessions, typically within 90 days, you’ll explore:
- What brought you to this point
- The patterns that keep repeating
- Your disappointments and unmet needs
- How “in” or “out” each person feels
- Whether there is enough willingness to start again differently
Sessions may be individual, joint, or a mix of both, depending on your situation.
By the end of this phase, you’ll choose one of two paths:
Start Again Together or Respectful Parting.
Phase Two: Your Chosen Path
Once you have clarity, I will support you through the path that is right for you.
1. If You Choose to Start Again Together
It is about creating a new relationship with the same person, built on stronger foundations.
You’ll be supported to take honest responsibility, communicate through difficult issues, and create a new relationship template based on respect, repair, curiosity, and connection.
2. If You Choose Respectful Parting
If separation is the right decision, I will help you move through it with dignity, care, and practical clarity.
You’ll receive support with the emotional and practical parts of separating, including communication, children, co-parenting, living separately, finances, property, and next steps.
You Can’t Find Clarity by Repeating the Same Cycle
Many couples stay in unhappy relationships because they do not know what to do next.
They repeat the same patterns, avoid the difficult conversations, and wait until there is nothing left to salvage.
Make or Break Coaching gives you a structured way forward, so you can move into a happier future, together or apart, knowing you made the right decision.
About the Programme
How does Make or Break Coaching work?
Make or Break Coaching is a self-paced programme with personal support alongside it.
You will have access to:
- Lifetime access to pre-recorded videos
- Lifetime access to worksheets and course materials
- Group coaching and Q&A sessions
- Access to the Make or Break online community for 12 months
- 6 private 90-minute sessions with Jayne in the first 6 months
- A personal learning platform with all videos, materials, Zoom links, and booking links in one place
Each learning point is broken down into short, manageable sections, with a video, transcript, and worksheet to help you reflect and apply what you are learning.
Your private sessions will be tailored to your situation. These are usually needed more often during the Decision Phase, and Jayne will guide you as the programme progresses.
What will I learn in the Decision Phase?
The Decision Phase helps you understand where you are now, what brought you to this point, and what decision feels right.
You will explore:
- How “in” or “out” of the relationship each person feels
- Your current living situation and emotional state
- The conversations you are having with your partner
- The relationship patterns that keep repeating
- The disappointments and unmet needs underneath the conflict
- The difference between blame and responsibility
- Whether there is enough willingness to start again differently
The goal is to help you decide whether to move toward Start Again Together or Respectful Parting.
What happens if we choose to start again together?
If you choose to start again together, the focus is not on returning to the old relationship.
It is about creating a new relationship with the same person, built on stronger foundations.
You will explore:
- The biggest blocks to happiness
- The behaviours that no longer serve the relationship
- Controlling, criticism, withdrawal, point-scoring, and needing to be right
- Needs, values, differences, and expectations
- Respectful communication
- How to disagree constructively
- How to repair after conflict
- Intimacy, connection, and emotional closeness
What happens if we choose respectful parting?
If separation is the right decision, Jayne will support you through the emotional and practical parts of separating.
You will explore:
- Coming to terms with the decision
- Managing difficult feelings
- Survival strategies for the early days
- How quickly things need to move
- How to talk about the children
- Money, assets, debts, and property
- Whether to move toward divorce or remain separated for now
The goal is to help you separate with dignity, care, and self-respect.
